Dining in
There’s no restaurant as such, but the room service menu features light bites such as quiche Lorraine and duck salad.

Breakfast
Served until 11am in the courtyard garden or the intimate dining room. Look forward to home-brewed coffee, fresh orange juice, pain au raisin, fresh fruit and yoghurt.

Sip on a glass of bubbly as you explore the wineries of the Champagne region, or wander around the winding cobbled streets of Troyes to explore its half-timbered houses, Gothic cathedral, churches, Musée d'Art Moderne and olde worlde architecture.

As well as plenty of shops and bars devoted to the region’s most famous tipple, champagne, you’ll find scores of bars and restaurants to try. If you’re feeling brave, try the local delicacy, Andouillette sausage (an acquired taste!).

There is shopping aplenty here, with most of the big names on show – the Lacoste label originated in Troyes.
