There's a ground floor sitting room with an inglenook fireplace, a fully fitted kitchen, a cosy upstairs snug for movie watching and two bathrooms – one with a double ended bath. The private decked patio beside the lake is perfect for al fresco dining.

Weekly rates start from EUR 1520. There's a minimum two-night stay.
Two double bedrooms
The master bedroom has a grand four poster bed with a gossamer canopy, and an oversize monsoon shower. Bedroom Two has silk bedspreads, cashmere throws and chic Colefax and Fowler wallpaper, while an atmospheric black floral bathroom comes with a double-ended bath for two.
Bed down in the magnificent timber-arched master suite, with its gossamer-draped four poster.
Eat & Drink
Rustle up dinner à deux in the fully equipped kitchen and eat out on the deck in summer months. If you’re feeling lazy, a take away supper from a local restaurant can be arranged with notice.
Delivered each morning by the ‘chateau fairy’, breakfast is a delicious mix of fresh fruits, bread and cheese
See & Do
Wander hand-in-hand around nearby Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne – a charming riverside medieval town featuring half-timbered houses with Renaissance windows and a Romanesque church.
The surrounding countryside is perfect for walks, biking and horse rides. Adventurous guests can try their hand at rock climbing in the gorges of the Dordogne or kayaking along the Dordogne river. More tranquil pursuits include fishing, visiting local gardens and exploring the forest of the Tulle and the moors of the Plateau de Millevaches. Archery and even balloon flights can be arranged from the chateau’s grounds.
Picturesque local Dordogne villages include Curemonte, Turenne and Autoire – reckoned to be some of the prettiest in France.
The strawberry fair in Beaulieu-Sur-Dordogne offers plenty of revelry. Taste the giant strawberry tart before locals gobble it up!
Sample some high culture including open-air opera and classical music at the festival of Saint Cere.
