Dining in
Chef Anna Maria prepares traditional home-cooked Mediterranean and regional fare. Expect only the best and freshest ingredients, many of which come from Il Cannito’s own garden and farm: olive oil from the estate, home distilled liqueurs and delicious desserts made with freshly picked pears, peaches and lemons. The restaurant is a big favourite with the locals, so you may have to book in advance in summer.

Il Cannito will gladly set up a tour taking in some of the region’s must-sees: the ancient Greek temples at Paestum, the dramatic Amalfi coast, fabulous Capri and the rugged Cilento nature park.

Il Cannito also hosts cookery classes and wine tasting. And you can always just flop on a sun lounger, admire the views, swim from the private beach or hire a boat. Your room rate includes free transfers to the beach at Lido in Tela 10km away, inclusive of a parasol and sunbeds.
