Individually designed suites offer every comfort and stunning views. You'll find a minibar, free wi-fi and hand made soaps and gels in the bathroom. Travelling with children? The Teofano suite has two adjoining rooms.

Our favorite suite was Ottone lll, with its beamed ceiling, double aspect windows and big bed.

Eat & Drink

Dining in:
Guests dine in the converted wine cellar, or on the terrace overlooking the Levanto valley in warm weather. Mains might feature chicken, beef or rabbit and include Ligurian specialities such as pasta al pesto and melanzane alla parmigiana. Owner Fabio is a wine aficionado and the cellar includes a number of lesser known Italian labels.

From village of Chiesanuova, the inn is only a 30 minute walk from the sea (though the uphill climb back takes rather longer!) and a stroll through pine forests and olive groves takes you down to the seaside resort of Levanto, with its broad sandy beach.

Monterosso (5km) is the first town in the famous Cinque Terre National Park, where everything from horse riding, cycling and trekking to canoeing and watersports is on offer. Chic Portofino and seafaring Genoa are only an hour’s drive away, while the Carrara marble quarries are also within easy reach. Boat trips to Portovenere are another great option.
