La Peschiera

The white single storey property – originally a 17th century fishery – has been artfully converted into an intimate little five-star hideaway where you can almost feel the sand between your toes. Bamboo doors and tented beds draped in flimsiest muslin that feel straight out of the tropics lend bedrooms a distinctly bohemian touch, while natural stone archways and simple white walls accented here and there with original artworks exemplify the hotel’s understated style.

La Peschiera's  pool is softly lit by candle flares at dusk, while the restaurant – just feet from the lapping waves – lets you dine with the sea breeze in your hair. Seafood rules here: scoff delicious fresh prawns, fried red mullet, grilled scampi.
