Delicious lunches at beach club major on home-made pastas, sushi and salads.
Olive oil, almonds, figs and local fruits come from the masseria’s own farm, where ham is cured and game, ducks and geese are reared (tuck into farm-fresh eggs at breakfast). Pastries and jams are made in the kitchens and the hotel’s own boat lands daily fresh seafood.

See & Do
See & Do
Hop aboard the free shuttle or pedal off to the beautifully groomed private beach (there are help-yourself bikes) 4km away, where you can lounge on a shaded sunbed, play volleyball or nibble at the sushi bar. You’ll also find a range of watersports on offer.
Take a trip along the coast in the hotel’s private yacht, horse ride along the beach or strike out on the nearby nine hole golf course. There’s tennis nearby and even a cookery school at sister property Torre Coccaro where you can hone your culinary skills.
You’re ideally located here to explore the Baroque towns of Lecce and Ostuni, coastal Monopoli with its old port and seafront castle, and Polignano a Mare, famous for its dramatic cliffs and sea caves. The town of Trani has a cathedral on the sea, Alberobello is packed with little conical trulli houses, while Matera is famous for its troglodyte caves.
Spa
Housed in Torre Maizza’s ancient watchtower, the hotel’s fabulous Aveda Spa is a place to relax and rejuvenate. Try an Ayurvedic massage (using the farm’s own organic herbs and olive oil), steam in the aromatised Turkish bath or bubble away in the whirlpool.
