Good to know
Your taxi will drop you at the Kasbah office, from where you’ll be walking uphill for 12 minutes – no high heels! Your bags will be carried by mule.

Special features
Superior rooms and above have a balcony or terrace to enjoy the amazing views. Deluxe doubles are spacious, comfortable and balconied. Back-to-basics standard rooms (shower only) are good value, and those in the Tower have use of a shared rooftop balcony with all-round views. All rooms come with a fridge, iPod dock and tea/coffee making.
Pillow Talk
We loved the apartment suite in the Garden House with its rolltop bath, huge living area and 12m glass wall opening onto a balcony with views of waterfalls and the High Atlas. There is also a beautiful Junior suite with its own private Berber lounge and terrace.

Dining In
Kasbah du Toubkal is made for sociable dining, so you’ll have ample opportunity to meet your fellow guests. Moroccan-French specialities range from hearty soups and excellent tagines to delicious desserts such as tarte aux pommes. There are plenty of veggie options. Alcohol is not served out of respect for local tradition, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Breakfast times are relaxed – just let your hosts know when you'd like to eat. Delicious options include Moroccan pancakes served with local honey.

You’ll have every chance to explore the Atlas mountains and scenic Toubkal National Park during your stay, with a choice of easy, moderate and strenuous hikes. These range from an easy 45-minute walking tour of local villages to a tough guided ascent of Jbel Toubkal, North Africa’s highest peak. Many include picnic lunches. Not into hiking? Book a camel ride, catch up with your books on the rooftop balconies, wallow in the hammam, play chess or snap those mountain vistas.
