DDG Retreat

Five private casas and a five-bedroom villa are scattered among hectares of wooded grounds close to the pretty pueblo blanco of Casares, one of Andalucia’s white villages. Eco friendly escape

Casa Adelfa is designed in tropical bungalow style, with Asian and African antiques and an open-air shower. With its own hammock and loungers it's perfect for sun-soaking.

Casa Pino comes with a covered terrace with a dining area tailor-made for alfresco suppers. This studio-style casa also has its own private tropical garden with fountain, hammock and loungers.

Duplex Casa Oleandro has a cosy lounge on one floor, a king size balcony bedroom and a private garden with chillout sofas and dining table. This lovely casa also has two baths – one indoors and one outdoors for starlit soaks. There is a also a private pool to cool off in.

Studio style Casa Cipres – the smallest – makes an ideal honeymoon hideaway. It boasts brilliant views across to the North African coast, plus a small private garden with dining table, barbecue and chillout zone. There is a small kitchen, so guests need never venture out.

Casa Olivo is large enough to take two children, while Villa Daria is designed for parties of up to 12, with a jacuzzi, barbecue and bar area. Don’t feel like cooking? No worries – staff will happily bring breakfast, lunch and dinner daily to your door.

Completing the DDG experience is the spa, where therapists on hand with a menu of holistic and pampering treatments. Have an outdoor body massage, burn off some calories in the gym or turn up the heat in the hammam and sauna.

Eagles, roe deer, moufflon and wild foxes live up here in the hills – underlining that back-to-nature feel – while the easy-to-reach location means you’re just an hour from Malaga Airport. DDG Retreat is also just a short drive from the beach and glitzy Puerto Banus.
