Friendly Sussex farmhouse with glorious gardens

Exotic tall grasses, rare breed animals and flowers as far as the eye can see are the big draw at Sussex Prairies B&B near the South Downs National Park, where a warm farmhouse welcome awaits.

Know It All

Just 20 minutes from Brighton and close to South Downs National Park.

Come here for...
● Fabulous gardens with artworks and a dazzling array of plant life. ● True "home on the range" hospitality. ● Real farmhouse breakfasts.

Amenities
The gardens are a plant lover’s paradise, with over 600 varieties on show. There are 32 acres of farmland and woods to wander through, as well as the six acre Prairies garden. Animal fans can get close to the rare breed Shetland sheep and pigs.

Bedtime...

Bedrooms
Three individual suites.

Special features
Each of the three bedrooms – Red, Yellow or Blue – is imaginatively designed and super-comfy. All have pretty garden and woodland views.  Beds are dressed in Egyptian cotton bedlinen, while bathrooms come with oversize bath towels and continental bath and shower gels. You'll also find fresh flowers, wi-fi and a flatscreen TV.

Pillow Talk
We loved the contemporary four-poster bed and supreme comforts of the Red Room, with its Turkish rugs, luxurious country house fabrics and piles of plush pillows. The equally attractive Blue Room has a kingsize teak bed, while the Yellow room is twin bedded.

Afternoon tea with home made cakes and biscuits will hit the spot should you feel peckish later.
