Get ready for full bathrooms with underfloor heating,  rolltop baths and wet rooms, super king size leather beds, and a fully heated sitting area with an African vibe. What’s more, each canvas lodge has a private terrace with your own outdoor hot tub.

These Hot Tub Safari canvas lodges come with freeview TV and a DVD player, an iPod dock, bathrobes and slippers, and twin vanity units with granite tops. You could be in a swishy hotel. What’s more, guests also get use of the main house, heated saltwater swimming pool (a suntrap in summer) and restaurant.

Hidden walled garden

Having spent the afternoon in your outdoor hot tub with a chilled bottle of fizz, it's just a short wander from your African inspired quarters to the main house for drinks in the drawing room and dinner in Pentre Mawr’s conservatory restaurant.  Breakfast too is served in the main house.

Let on a minimum two night stay, these adults-only suites are set in the grounds of Pentre Mawr Country House, where you'll also find a walled garden and acres of lush Vale of Clwyd meadow, parkland and woodland.

Walks start from the door and there’s fishing nearby. The house also lends itself to private house parties, so bring your friends along to crack open a bottle or two.
